PaintShop Photo Pro X4 Ultimate is part of the Corel product portfolio. It is one of the most popular applications for photo editing and digital imaging.
This software will allow you to import images from folders and scanners or import images captured using webcams. It can support almost any image format you will want to open. PaintShop Pro X4 Ultimate is great if you are working with Camera RAW photos. You can edit your pictures by removing the “red eye” effect, by using tools such as "straighten," "makeover," "clone brush," by changing the color balance, brightness, contrast, fill light, clarity, sharpen effect, noise removal, and more.
PaintShop Pro X4 Ultimate also works with selection, layers, masks, vector brushes features often used for applying effects, enhance some properties or hiding different parts,objects from a photo. The new HDR (high dynamic range) techniques and methods let you merge pictures with different exposure time to produce images as close as possible to real scenes. The latest version has had major improvements regarding resource usage, which is why it also launches twice as fast. The interface responds faster and it applies effects almost instantaneously, allowing you to work without interruption.

New! HDR tools
The HDR (high dynamic range) tools are completely redesigned to give you more control over your results and help you take full advantage of photos taken with auto-bracketing features on DSLRs.
- Exposure Merge lets you customize how photos with different exposures are combined—create stunning, perfectly exposed images from those high-contrast backlit scenes, such as sunsets and interior window shots. Use the built-in presets to adjust your images or save your own presets to achieve a custom, uniform look across a series of HDR photos.
- Batch Merge lets you merge multiple bracketed sets of photos. If you use your auto-bracket feature often, this is an invaluable tool for processing HDR sets quickly. In some cases, you’ll be happy with the auto-generated results. In other cases, you’ll discover a beautiful result that you want to customize in Exposure Merge.
New! Photo Blend
Combine photos of the same scene to remove, swap, or add details in the final image. For example, remove cars and people from a street scene, swap in the best smiles from a series of group photos, and creatively include multiple versions of the same person in one image.
New! Selective Focus effect
Selective focus lets you create a quick miniature effect (also called a Tilt-Shift effect), transforming a real scene into a toy-like miniature model.
